Tastel Windows

Tastel Windows: The sensory solution

Mobile Windows

Goals

. This Windows-based system allows the design of questionnaires, data entry, and processing of results. Most of the sensory techniques and their associated statistical processing have been developed in this tool.

. Tastel (Differentiation and description) or Tastel (Differentiation, description and assessment) will constitute tools to enable you to design the questionnaires, enter the data and process your results.
. Tastel also makes it possible to link sensory aspects with the formulation, and can be associated with our Recipe tool for formulation management.

Description

Preparation of protocols and questionnaires

. Design and definition of devices.

- Complete blocks, BIE, Latin squares...

. Preparation of questionnaires.

- Word forms for remote input and consolidation of secondary sites.

Sensory techniques

. Discrimination

- AnonA,Pair Duo/trio,Triangular,1 out of 4,2 out of 4,2 out of 5,Compliance,Product approvals

. Description

- Classic, Flash, Free, Napping©, Comparative and Pivot© Profiles. Temporal dominance of sensations, Classifications.

. Appreciation

- Product tests: on scales, with multiple choices, cross tables, rankings, open questions,
free questions, text, date, number, …

. Panel training and training: ranges, comparisons with references, etc.

Statistical processing

. Various graphs: stars, histograms, follow-ups, comparisons, distributions ....
. Non-parametric descriptive statistics: Willcoxon, Friedman, Kramer, Mann and Whitney, Kruskal Wallis tests, etc.
. Normality analyses: Chi2, Kolmogorov Smirnov
. Frequency and distribution statistics
. Meaning: alpha and beta risks
. Follow-up of products in discrimination (triangular tests, conformity) and in description (profiles)
. Variance analysis:
2 to 4 factors, balanced, unbalanced, comparison of means,
Tests of PPDS, Duncan, newman&Keuls, Aspin Welch...
Factor judge in random factor or fixed factor – balanced or unbalanced factors

. Multidimensional statistics and graphs:
Standardized & non-standardized Principal Component Analysis on products, judges, products x judges
Additional variables and individuals – Significance envelopes
Discriminant analysis, Statis analysis on products, on judges, with or without compromise
Ascending Hierarchical Classifications on variables, on products, on judges
Mapping on judges
. Textual analysis of comments with automatic processing based on occurrence, on synonyms
. Internal Mapping Preference
. Preference External Mapping according to different models, with new product modeling
. Generation of analysis reports based on multi-language report templates, with restitution of all the treatments and analyzes cited, with automatic choice of appropriate statistics (normal or non-Gaussian),
and automatic interpretations (PCA results, for example).
