Optimization modules are available to optimize costs ; for example considering different types of costs configured by the user, and considering the constraints on various nutritional characteristics products with minimum and maximum values, and the ingredients in the formula, the system will provide for minimum and maximum levels for the resulting formula.
A simple example is presented below with the formulation of a "sausage", which, considering the price and the fat percentage of each ingredient, the limits of integration of these ingredients, the cost optimization must be performed using a single constraint that is not to exceed a certain percentage (27%) fat.
The result is thus given immediately and automatically with a cost of 8.217, with the percentages of each ingredient.
